Jana Loney
Jana has been a dancer for 30 years and had an interest in biology and anatomy from a young age. This made choosing a career in Physiotherapy very easy! She graduated in 2011 and quickly started taking courses such as acupuncture and myofascial release and STOTT Pilates. After working in private practice for 12 years, she felt that she needed more education to help individuals with scoliosis. She made the decision to become a Schroth certified physiotherapist. When she is not working, Jana is exploring new hiking trails, drinking wine and dreaming of her next adventure with her hubby.

Stephen Braun B.M.R (PT), B. A
Welcome!
My Name is Steve, I have been a Physiotherapist for over 11 years now and have been working with the Christie family at their clinic here in Winnipeg and also in Ste. Anne, Manitoba.
I completed my physiotherapy studies at the University of Manitoba in 2013 and have also completed my bachelor of arts degree from the University of St. Boniface.
Since then I have taken numerous courses focusing on orthopaedic manual therapy, acupuncture, exercise, orthotics and MANY other things physiotherapy related! Being a physiotherapist requires a commitment to career long learning and I have continued to embrace that and grow throughout my career and have also had the pleasure of helping to train many students over the years at the clinics.
In my spare time, I love going to my family cottage at Grindstone, spending time with my wife Katie, jogging, cooking, watching the Jets, taking on projects, trying new hobbies and keeping up with our pup Gilmore.

Ksenia (Oksana) Pankova MPT
After having her first career at New Flyer, Oksana decided to chase her dreams, pursued physiotherapy and graduated from U of M with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. It was her natural interest in anatomy, movement and the body’s ability to rehabilitate that made physiotherapy her match. After having a physiotherapy placement at DCP, it seemed like a good match for a career choice. She also has a background in linguistics, which means she’s a keen listener, which her patients appreciate. Beyond listening, her practice style tries to find a perfect balance between manual therapy, exercise and education. Outside of the clinic she enjoys yoga, cycling, slacklining, paddleboarding and learning foreign languages. Speaking of which she offers physiotherapy in English and Russian.

He practices at Doug Christie Physiotherapy but also at Lorette Physiotherapy and had a stint at Ste Anne Physiotherapy as well (all sister clinics) Professionally, Trevor has focused his clinical work and his post-graduate courses on developing a high level of expertise in clinical reasoning and manual (hands on) therapy skills. In 2013 he began a Clinical Masters program at the University of Western Ontario. He trained with a group of highly respected and educated clinicians and professors. In July 2014 he successfully completed this program and has joined a small group of accomplished Physical Therapists in Canada who have achieved the designation of a Masters in Clinical Sciences in Manipulative Therapy and is now a FCAMPT (Fellow of Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy) therapist. This advanced training, coupled with his certification in acupuncture, give him plenty of tools to accompany his efforts to help everyone he sees reach their personal goals of treatment. Trevor has now reached the point where he looks forward to supporting the profession of physiotherapy by offering his time through mentoring and teaching others who are keen to sharpen their physiotherapy skills or achieve similar advanced level certification. He is passionate in his belief that physiotherapy is a profession that has much to offer to the public in keeping people active, productive and healthy in our work, play, hobbies and in the so called ‘golden years’. He is committed to keeping the profession a respected intervention in health care and has spent years on our provincial board where he represented the interests of private practice clinics. Personally, Trevor is surrounded by Christie physiotherapists; his father Doug, his mother Cathy and his wife Hilary. Trevor and Hilary have two daughters named Quinn (2015), Camryn (2020) and a son Reed (2017). As of now it is unknown whether they will join the profession. In his spare time Trevor likes to play hockey, golf, spongee, fish and socialize. He enjoys dabbling in home renovations, going to the Jets games, playing fantasy football and going to the lake in the summer.
